We are delighted to announce Sarah Yarwood has been promoted to Account Director.
Sarah joined our team in 2017, driving The Co Collective – our former talent management arm. She then spent 2 years in a marketing role at French Connection, before returning to Kate & Co. PR in 2021 and cementing herself as an integral part of the PR account service team. Over the past two years Sarah has led a suite of high-end clients including The LUME, Moomba, Coles, Australian Turf Club and Penfolds. It has been a joy to watch Sarah grow her career at Kate & Co. PR, not only across client service but also heading up our social committee and mentoring junior staff. We look forward to supporting Sarah to flourish in her new role.
We are also thrilled to announce that Ava Valpied has joined the team as an Account Coordinator. Ava has a Double Degree in Media Communications and Business from Swinburne University of Technology. Born and raised in Ballarat, Ava has spent the last few years living in Queensland where she worked as a Disability Support Worker while completing her studies. She is also a Certified Pilates Instructor and while in Queensland she also worked at Ritual Yoga and Pilates, where her role included digital marketing, content creation and social media management.
We are excited to foster Ava’s professional development and watch her hone her PR skills across her client portfolio. Welcome Ava!
