This year we celebrated 30 years of Melbourne Fashion Week, and what an amazing week it was!
Over 300 designers were celebrated across 7 runways throughout the week, as M/FW revisited some of their most iconic Melbourne locations including the most-loved Melbourne Town Hall, Melbourne Museum and Queen Victoria Market.
Our team secured colourful coverage across the likes of Vogue Australia, InStyle Australia, Herald Sun, The Age, TODAY Show, Channel 7, 9 & 10 News, ABC News, Broadsheet Media, ELLE Australia, Fashion Journal and many, many more.
With more than 100 independent and retailer events to participate in across the week, M/FW celebrated three decades of the city’s thriving fashion community, highlighting everything that makes Melbourne’s fashion scene unique and extraordinary and everyone was invited to participate!
This year, we continued to work with an array of media and VIP guests throughout the week including Lana Wilkinson, Martha Kalifatidis, Michelle Banares, Maxine Wylde and Tatenda Luna. We also had a very special guest appearance from Chrishell Stause!
We wrapped up the week with an amazing Closing Showcase, highlighting 30 designers that have shaped Melbourne Fashion over the years, with our M/FW Ambassador and Melbourne-born International musician G Flip, taking centre stage to bring the week to a thrilling close.
