At the beginning of 2023, KateCo. PR were assigned the task of identifying and presenting potential ambassadors that Cancer Council Australia could align with in support of their forthcoming men's sunscreen innovation launch.
With a history of skin cancer and strong public appeal, Australian golfer and Masters winner Adam Scott was the perfect choice to lead the call-to-action campaign across the summer season.
From approach and negotiation through to media and event planning the team executed a 360 degree roll out that included consultation on branding, social media and retail initiatives.
The goal was to generate a conversation within the male and sporting community as well as boost awareness and sales across both the new men’s hydrating sku and SPORT range.
After announcing the partnership at a bespoke event in Sydney , our team has continued to drive activity via a strategic and long-term editorial, gifting and social media strategy.
