On Thursday 19 September 2019, Kate & Co. helped the Australian Turf Club (ATC) officially launch the spectacular seven-week Everest Carnival with a stylish Champagne brunch to key media, racing personalities and Sydney socialites.

Hosted by TAB’s Gerard Middleton at the new "Pony Palms", a Palm Springs-inspired precinct featuring Sydney's first trackside pool, guests were immersed in the ATC’s world of racing, learning about the latest news, views and trends from the 2019 Everest Carnival Ambassadors, Sarah Roberts and James Stewart, alongside Australia's top stable of jockeys, fashion stylists and beauty experts.

Pony Palms was fully activated for the first time to showcase what racegoers can expect during the 2019 Everest Carnival– think refreshing poolside glamour, private cabanas, high profile DJs, a Colgate Smile Studio for beauty touch-ups, as well as bars from Chandon and Heineken.

ATC’s official stylist for Spring, Jess Pecoraro, created a unique fashion moment featuring a runway of models dressed in the latest Spring racewear from Harrolds. Throughout the proceedings, guests were able to experience a taste of the French-inspired raceday menu designed by Guillaume Brahimi.

Also unveiled at the event, was The TAB Everest trophy (designed by Nic Cerrone), valued at $437,000 and encrusted in 7,777 black diamonds.

The media call of the 2019 Everest Carnival was finished off with an incredible horse stunt from former Group 1 Jockey, ATC Racing Ambassador and Seven Racing Expert, Katelyn Mallyon.
