To kick off the launch of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week 2019, Ovolo held an exclusive brunch in collaboration with Moet & Chandon at Alibi Bar and Kitchen at their Sydney flagship hotel, Ovolo Woolloomooloo. Coinciding with Mother's Day, the event was a celebration of women, mothers, fashion and comfy feet!

The brunch came with the announcement of Ovolo's collaboration with designer footwear label, Mara & Mine, in which they co-created a limited edition Fashion Week hotel slipper. Each guest was lucky enough to walk away with a pair of the ‘Ready to Wear’ slippers, with many spotted changing into the more comfortable shoe mid event! Additionally, Christian Wilkins, announced his role as the official Ovolo Fashion Week Correspondent, as he  entertained guests donning head-to-toe attire by Sydney based designer, Camilla.

Guests were treated to plant based canapés from Alibi Bar and Kitchen, unlimited champagne which flowed continuously courtesy of Moet & Chandon, refreshments from Sanpellegrino and sweet delights from Lindt chocolate. Parents and children alike were kept entertained by the resident DJ, complimented by the vivid sounds of a trumpet player, as well as live portrait artistry.

The first-class guest list  included the likes of designers Jasmine Stefanovic (formerly Yarbrough) and Tamie Ingham of Mara & Mine, TV presenters and personalities Karl Stefanovic, Richard Wilkins, Sylvia Jeffreys, Abbey Gelmi, Scott Tweedie and Laura Csortan, travel blogger, Shaun Birley and Aussie model, Imogen Anthony.

The event’s invitation distribution, guest list management and media relations surrounding the event were managed by Kate & Co.
